Outerspace were commissioned to design the gardens of a private house in Knightsbridge. The main garden at the rear of the property is over a three story basement and is arranged over two levels with a lower level terrace stepping up to the main garden level. 

A TPO tree in the rear garden restricted the development and resulted in a curved wall to the 3 basement levels. Careful planning was required within the landscape to ensure minimum disturbance to the root protection area, as a result a raft foundation was developed with the engineers to support walls, fencing and arbors within the RPA. A reinforced gravel system was implemented within the driveway to protect tree roots and provide a permeable surface above.
